Executive Advisory

A strategic partner for the decisions only you can make.

For owners, executives, and public-sector leaders facing a consequential call — a hire, a pivot, a team that isn't rowing together, a decision the community will scrutinize. I bring the research before the opinion, so you leave with a decision you can defend.

Confidential engagements · Mutual NDA · E&O insured

Most growing organizations don't have a strategy problem. They have a people-and-trust problem that looks like a strategy problem.

That's the lens I bring to every engagement. Trained in public policy and sociology, I look at how people actually experience your decisions — your team, your customers, your community — and build the strategy around what holds up in practice.

Three ways to work together

Decide. Align. Advise.

Start where the pressure is. Most leaders begin with one decision and stay for the partnership.

  • Written Decision Memo in 48 hours

  • 30-day check-in

Credited in full toward any engagement within 30 days.

Inside a Decision Session

Not a call. A decision, with the homework done.

Most advisors bring opinions to the first meeting. I bring findings. By the time we sit down, I've reviewed your materials and talked to the people your decision affects.

Questions leaders bring

Do I hire a GM or promote from within? · Why are our best people leaving? · Should we bid public work? · How do we take a rate change to council without losing trust?

  1. Decision brief

The question, the options on the table, what's at stake, and your deadline.

  2. Research before the room

Document review, two confidential interviews, and a quick look at how others have handled it.

  3. The working session · 3 hours

What I found. The real question underneath. Options and trade-offs, including who each one affects. Pressure-test your leaning. Commit.

  4. Decision Memo · within 48 hours

The decision, the reasoning, the risks, and the first 30 days. Something you can hand to a partner, banker, or board.

  5. 30-day check-in

Did the decision hold? What changed? What's next?

Executive Advisory Retainer

Questions leaders ask

Why a fixed fee instead of hourly?

You're paying for a better decision, not my time. A fixed fee means you never hesitate to call, and I never have a reason to stretch the work.

Is it confidential?

Yes. Every engagement starts with a mutual NDA, and interview findings are shared as themes, never attributed to individuals.

In person or virtual?

Either. Strategy Days work best in person, anywhere along the Front Range. Decision Sessions and retainer meetings work well on video.

What if I don't need you?

I'll tell you. The first conversation is free, and sometimes the most useful thing I can say is that you already have what you need.

What decision is on your desk right now?

Tell me about it in a 30-minute conversation. We'll work out together whether a Decision Session, a Strategy Day, or something else is the right first step.
